On September 27, the Governor of Moscow region Andrey Vorobyev during his official visit to Dubna city district gave the go-ahead to PASCAL MEDICAL’s manufacturing of medical products.
The event was participated by the vice-governor of Moscow region Natalia Virtuozova, the deputy chairman of the government of Moscow region and the minister of investments and innovations of Moscow region Denis Butsayev, the chief officer of Dubna city district Vyacheslav Mukhin, the general director of Dubna special economic zone of technology innovation type Anton Afanasyev, the general director of PASCAL MEDICAL LLC Alexander Fedorov.
“We plan to capture about twenty percent of the Russian market when the plant reaches its projected production capacity and by that to support our country in solving the problem of replacing imported products with domestic ones. Currently imported products dominate on the market, but we plan to have that market share no later than in 2019,” said the general director of PASCAL MEDICAL Alexander Fedorov answering questions from the media.
Total amount of investments into this project is 2.3 billion rubles. PASCAL MEDICAL’s press release explains that on later stages the company plans to launch production of infusion and transfusion systems, vacuum blood and urine sampling systems, intravenous catheters which currently are not manufactured in Russia and syringes pre-filled with normal saline to rinse the intravenous catheters.
PASCAL MEDICAL is one of 133 residents of Dubna special economic zone. Residents of Dubna SEZ specialize in information technologies, nuclear physics and nanoscale technologies, bio-technologies, design of complex technical systems and development of composite materials.
